How to add your token to Polygon Portal bridge?
Hi everyone! I've deployed my token on the Polygon POS network, but I'm looking to bridge it through the Polygon Portal bridge. I was wondering how I can add my token to the bridge? Initially, I thought all bridges would just handle deployment for me, but from what I understand, the bridging might only work with tokens originally deployed on Ethereum. How did they upgrade WMATIC/WPOL contracts without changing addresses?
Hey folks, I've been trying to wrap my head around how the WMATIC to WPOL migration was handled. Specifically, I'm puzzled about how they changed the symbol and name of the contracts 0x0d500B1d8E8eF31E21C99d1Db9A6444d3ADf1270 and 0x0000000000000000000000000000000000001010 when they're not upgradable. How did they manage to keep the same contract addresses but update the immutable contract states? I read some about PIP-45 and noticed something about a network hardfork. Was this change achieved through a hardfork, like it mentions?

Best way to deploy Amoy node without manual data copy?
I'm trying to deploy another Amoy node service without going through a lengthy synchronization process. I thought of copying the disk data from an existing Amoy node to a new computer, thinking it would save time. However, after doing so, the BOR service on the new setup failed to start. Should I have turned off the service before copying the data? What is the best approach to efficiently set up a new Amoy node?

What's the cost and reward of running a validator node?
I'm trying to figure out if it's financially feasible to run a validator node for Polygon. Can someone break down the expected cost of running a validator node per checkpoint in ETH, and also what are the block rewards for being a validator? Essentially, I'm wondering if the MATIC reward is less than the ETH cost for checkpoints.
